Pre-Identified Potential Bishop Nominee Information
Conferences met in assembly on February 23, 2025. Attendees participated in a time of Bible study, reflection, and discussion regarding synod hopes, dreams, priorities, and challenges; and discernment about ministers who have the desired and necessary gifts for the office of bishop. Pastors whose names were lifted up during this process were invited to submit a biographical information form. The pastor listed below submitted a form to the Bishop Election Committee. It is important to remember that this pre-identification at the conference assembly was not a nomination process. A minister of Word and Sacrament who was lifted up at the conference assembly still needs to be nominated on the first ecclesiastical ballot at the Synod Assembly to be a nominee for the bishop and move forward in the election process.
