Rev. Renae Boehmer, Director for the Synod’s Holy Playground Initiative, filmed this introduction for members and congregations of the South Dakota Synod.
“I am Pastor Renae Boehmer – the brand new Director for the Holy Playground Initiative with the SD Synod ELCA….and I’m so excited to share the vision of this program with all of you. Due to the generosity of the Lilly Endowment, we have the opportunity to work with congregations to foster vibrant, intergenerational worship and prayer experiences across the state. Using developmentally-appropriate practices, brain-based research, and our combined creativity, together we will find ways to make God’s love come alive.
