At the last ELCA Churchwide Gathering, many amendments and resolutions were passed. The South Dakota Synod recommends that each congregation reviews their own constitutions and implement any required changes and consider the recommended changes. The best place to start is to download the Model Constitution for Congregations to use as a template for your constitution.
