Associate to the Bishop and Director for Evangelical Mission Rev. Jonathan Vehar provides a brief explanation of the South Dakota Synod’s “Holy Playground” Initiative. The Initiative is funded by a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. through its Nurturing Children Through Worship and Prayer Initiative, a national initiative designed to help Christian congregations more fully and intentionally engage children in intergenerational corporate worship and prayer practices.
