Join us on August 21st at Messiah Lutheran Church to celebrate and support rural ministry at our inaugural Farm to Table Dinner! We’ll have live music from Eliza Blue, a catered meal, and a short program with a live auction. You’ll be able to hear stories from Pastor Alan Blankenfeld, our Rural Ministry Liaison, and from some of the congregations he has worked with since beginning his call.
All proceeds will go to support rural ministry throughout the South Dakota Synod.
Messiah Lutheran is 12.2 miles east of I-29 Exit 104 (the Trent exit).

Eliza Blue is a shepherd, storyteller & folk-singer. In addition to being a regular columnist with the Daily Yonder, her weekly missive ‘Little Pasture on the Prairie,’ is carried by 17 different print publications, and she is a regular contributor to South Dakota Public Radio and Prairie Public with her series: ‘Postcards from the Prairie.’ She also writes and hosts a traveling concert television show, Wish You Were Here’ for PBS.
