In the video below, Bishop Constanze Hagmaier introduces the Synod’s new micro-grant program for feeding ministries. Here are a couple of highlights:
- Congregations and worshiping communities can apply for $500 matching grants to support feeding ministries in their community. They will be expected to match the grants with $500 of their own or from another donor.
- The Synod Council has given a lead gift of $10,000 for these grants. We will be raising funds on Giving Tuesday (Dec. 2) to add to this lead gift. We invite members of the Synod to share the word about this program and make a donation on Giving Tuesday, so we can award more grants and provide more food to those in need.
