John Larson, former missionary to Cameroon, and husband to Cathy Larson, passed away earlier this week on Tuesday, January 3, at the Bethany Home in Sioux Falls, following a lengthy illness. His wife, Cathy, served in the South Dakota Synod until her retirement in 2014 as the Companion Synod Coordinator. John also served on the Companion Synod Committee.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 12 at St. Mark’s Lutheran in Sioux Falls. A prayer service will begin at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 11 at St. Mark’s.
Our prayers are with Cathy and her family as they mourn the loss of John.
