The hospital in Garoua Boulai, Cameroon is in urgent need of an X-ray machine, which was broken due to unstable electricity. In 2013 the hospital treated 1,461 patents per month with 250 people needing X-ray exams. That number is expected to increase with the unrest in Central African Republic.
The most critical need is the rewiring of the electrical system and the securing of a voltage stabilizer. Without this, X-ray machines will continue to be damaged. The project is estimated to cost approximately $27,000. If you would like to help, please share this bulletin insert with your congregation. Funds may be sent to the synod office.
Thank you for your mission generosity!
