Abraham Gayetaye, SAM and Mission Developer for First Lutheran African Ministry is currently being hospitalized after suffering a stroke late last night in his home. Abraham is responsive and currently recovering at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. Please keep Abraham, his family, physicians and nurses, and the members of First Lutheran African Ministry in your prayers.
Almighty and merciful God, you are the only source of health and healing; you alone can bring calmness and peace. Grant to Abraham and his family an awareness of your presence and a strong confidence in you. In his pain, his weariness, and his anxiety, surround him with your care, protect him by your loving might, and permit him once more to enjoy health, strength, and peace; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
