Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As I begin my time of sabbatical I give thanks for the generosity of our Synod Council and my colleagues a Churchwide for providing this opportunity. I will be gone until September 15. During that time, I will not be responding to church-related emails or messages, but will accept invitations to golf or fish! Also, during assembly you may have heard the Bishop comment on the fact that many of our Airmen of the South Dakota Air National Guard will be deploying soon. Please keep them in your prayers. I will be serving them and their families from here at Joe Foss field in Sioux Falls, and will not be deploying with this contingent.
