Week 4: Pueblo de Dios

29 Tributad a Jehová, oh hijos de los poderosos,
Dad a Jehová la gloria y el poder.
2 Dad a Jehová la gloria debida a su nombre;
Adorad a Jehová en la hermosura de la santidad.
3 Voz de Jehová sobre las aguas;
Truena el Dios de gloria,
Jehová sobre las muchas aguas.
4 Voz de Jehová con potencia;
Voz de Jehová con gloria.
5 Voz de Jehová que quebranta los cedros;
Quebrantó Jehová los cedros del Líbano.
6 Los hizo saltar como becerros;
Al Líbano y al Sirión como hijos de búfalos.
7 Voz de Jehová que derrama llamas de fuego;
8 Voz de Jehová que hace temblar el desierto;
Hace temblar Jehová el desierto de Cades.
9 Voz de Jehová que desgaja las encinas,
Y desnuda los bosques;
En su templo todo proclama su gloria.
10 Jehová preside en el diluvio,
Y se sienta Jehová como rey para siempre.
11 Jehová dará poder a su pueblo;
Jehová bendecirá a su pueblo con paz.
Estamos viviendo tiempos muy difíciles, comenzamos hace exactamente hace un año con la pandemia mejor conocida como el COVIC 19 un virus que nos afecto a todos ricos y pobres fuimos victimas de este virus, al principio todos estábamos muy asustados y los primeros días tratamos de no salir de casa, pero con el paso de los días algunos nos vimos en la necesidad de salir, algunos para buscar comida los que tuvieron la suerte de mantener sus trabajos salían a trabajar,lo mas triste tuvimos que cerrar las iglesias por algunos meses, yo me sentía muy nerviosa de que nuestra congregación se enfriara espiritualmente, por lo tanto trataba de enviar un texto biblico por semana y durante la semana les preguntaba sobre ese texto biblico cuando comparti este texto me senti totalmente refortalecida espiritualmente pude explicar a nuestra congregación que sin DIOS no somos nada, pude explicar que el poder y la gloria solo el las tiene solo a el le pertenecen el salmo 29 nos describe toda su gloria y su poder y nosotros como hijos e hijas de DIOS solo a el debemos dar gloria y alabanza no importa cuantos virus vengan, cuantas tormentas pasemos el siempre esta con nosotros somos sus hijos e hijas amados y el nunca nos abandona.
Asi como el nos ama nosotros debemos responder con ese mismo amor que el nos tiene.
Como podemos hacer esto?
Reconociéndolo como el Dios lleno de gracia y de poder como nuestro padre celestial.
La paz del señor sea con todos ustedes en esta cuaresma.

Psalm 29
1 Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory of his name;
worship the Lord in holy splendor.
3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord, over mighty waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,
and Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord causes the oaks to whirl,[b]
and strips the forest bare;
and in his temple all say, “Glory!”
10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
the Lord sits enthroned as king forever.
11 May the Lord give strength to his people!
May the Lord bless his people with peace!
We are living very difficult times, we started exactly one year ago with the pandemic better known as COVID 19, a virus that affected all of us, rich and poor. We were victims of this virus. At first we were all very scared and the first days we tried not to leave home, but as the days went by, some of us found ourselves in the need to go out. Some went out to look for food. Those who were lucky to keep their jobs went out to work. The saddest thing is we had to close the churches for a few months. I felt very nervous that our congregation would cool down spiritually, therefore I tried to send a biblical text each week, and during the week I asked them about that biblical text. When I shared this text I felt totally spiritually strengthened. I could explain to our congregation that without GOD, we are nothing. I was able to explain that the power and the glory only belongs to God. Psalm 29 describes all his glory and the power, and we as sons and daughters of GOD alone, we must give glory and praise no matter how many viruses come, how many storms we pass. He is always with us, we are his beloved sons and daughters and he never abandons us.
Just as he loves us, we must respond with that same love that he has for us.
How can we do this?
Recognizing him as the gracious and powerful God, as our heavenly father.
The peace of the Lord be with you all this Lent.
