Week 4: Pueblo de Dios

La paz del señor sea con todos ustedes mis hermanos y hermanas.
Nuestra reflexión de hoy esta basada en Lucas 12:15-“ Mirad y guardaos de la avaricia; por que la vida del hombre no consiste en la abundancia que tenga a causa de sus posesiones”
Cuando llegamos a este país ,llegamos a trabajar muy duro, llegamos con la mentalidad de hacer dinero, ya que venimos con la esperanza de dejar atrás esa vida que teníamos en nuestros países una vida con mucha falta de oportunidad, una vida llena de limitaciones, en todas las formas, tanto monetaria, como física si no hay dinero no tienes como alimentarte bien por lo tanto si no te alimentas bien no puedes ir al medico, en fin llegamos aca y comenzamos a trabar tan duro que nos olvidamos de vivir, una vida normal, una vida en familia.
A veces es muy triste ver como poco a poco nos espezamos a superar en este país, y no es suficiente siempre queremos mas y mas, he visto a muchos casos donde ya Dios nos dio bendición con una casita pequeña pero nosotros queremos una mas grande, nos bendijo con un carrito que todavía camina bien pero queremos el carro ultimo modelo ,nos dejamos llevar por la avaricia y nos olvidamos de lo que realmente es importante, nos olvidamos de ese gran tesoro valioso, nuestra relacion con el Dios todopoderoso cuando tenemos de todo olvidamos completamente de quien vienen esa bendiciones en Proverbios 22:9 nos dice se generoso será bendito por que da de su pan al pobre. Pero estamos tan acostumbrados a no querer compartir lo que el señor nos da preferimos guardarlo o tirarlo antes de compartirlo la reflexión de nuestro versículo de hoy es que si CRISTO JESUS fue capaz de dar su vida por nosotros que nos cuenta a nosotros compartir un poco de las bendiciones que nuestro padre nos a nosotros cada dia escuchemos el evangelio de Lucas y dejemos la avaricia por un lado y seamos dadores de corazón alegre seamos agradecidos con el señor por tantas bendiciones resividas.

The peace of the Lord be with all of you my brothers and sisters.
Our reflection for today is on Luke 12:15 – “Look and beware of greed; because the life of man does not consist of the abundance that he has because of his possessions.”
When we arrived in this country, we came to work very hard. We arrived with the mentality of making money, since we came with the hope of leaving behind that life that we had in our countries, a life with a lot of lack of opportunity, a life full of limitations in all forms, both monetary and physical. If there is no money, you do not get to eat well, and if you do not eat well, you cannot go to the doctor. We finally arrive here and start working so hard we forget to live, a normal life, a family life.
Sometimes it is very sad to see how little by little we hope to build up in this country, and it is not enough we always want more and more. I have seen many cases where God already gave us a blessing with a small house but we want a bigger one. He blessed us with a little car that still works well, but we want the latest model car. We get carried away by greed and forget what is really important, we forget that great valuable treasure, our relationship with Almighty God. When we have everything, we completely forget who those blessings come from.
Proverbs 22:9 tells us “those who are generous are blessed, for they share their bread with the poor.” But we are so used to not wanting to share what the Lord gives us, we prefer to keep it or throw it away before sharing it. The reflection of our verse today is that if CHRIST JESUS was able to give his life for us, he calls us to share a little of the blessings that our Father gives us every day. We listen to the Gospel of Luke and set greed aside, and be givers with a joyful heart. Let us be grateful to the Lord for so many living blessings.
