REFLEXIONES DE CUARESMA
LA PAZ DEL SEñOR SEA CON TODOS MIS HERMANOS Y HERMANAS EN CRISTO.
MATEO 11:28- Venid a mi, todos los que están fatigados y cargados, y yo los hare descansar.
Este versículo del evangelio de Mateo es muy corto pero muy poderoso y alentador, tanto para mi como para mi comunidad, especialmente en estos tiempos tan difíciles para toda la humanidad.
Hay veces que al visitar a las familias de la comunidad hispana es muy triste ver como sufren especialmente las familias nuevas que vienen llegando a este país, muchas veces a la casa de familiares que ya están establecidos aca familias que ya tienen mas tiempo viviendo aca o llegan a casa de amistades del mismo lugar de donde venimos originalmente la cuestión aquí es que vivir muchos en una casa pequeña empieza a causar conflicto, ya que los gastos aumentan y la tensión comienza a causar estrés entre los miembros de las familias incluyendo a los niños.
Al escuchar a mi comunidad que empiezan a decir que la gente con la que viven es mala que se porta mal yo siempre uso este versículo de la biblia, ya que en mi vida personal este versículo es el que me levanta cada dia, como pastor todos los días debo escuchar las necesidades de mi pueblo los problemas de mi comunidad, hay problemas y necesidades que son muy simples de solucionar pero hay algunas nesecidadesy problemas que no tienen solución he visto como padres o madres son deportados a sus países de origen dejando a sus hijos solos en este país donde los niños nacieron, he visto padres ir a la cárcel por manejar sin una licencia de conducir he visto muchas injusticias con nuestra comunidad,todo esto me hace llevar mucha carga sobre mis hombros por que como sea me quita el sueño y el hambre saber que mis hermanos y hermanas en cristo están sufriendo yo sufro también con ellos, siempre me gusta escucharlos hasta que ellos sacan eso que traen cargando después leemos Mateo 11:28 y siempre terminas con una carga mas ligera al entender que debemos y no podemos llevar esa carga tan pesada cuando sabemos que contamos con la ayuda de nuestro creador para soltar esa carga pasada y asi hacerla mas ligera estamos en tiempo de cuaresma tiempo de conversión dejemos nuestras cargas al seños.

THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH ALL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST.
MATTHEW 11:28 – Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
This verse from the Gospel of Matthew is very short but very powerful and encouraging, both for me and for my community, especially in these difficult times for all humanity.
There are times when visiting the families of the Hispanic community, it is very sad to see suffering, especially how the new families who come to this country, many times at the home of relatives who are already established here, families who have already lived here for more time. Or they come to house of friends from the same place where we originally come from. The issue here is that many living in a small house begins to cause conflict, since expenses increase and tension begins to cause stress among family members, including children.
When I listen to my community sometimes they begin to say that the people they live with are bad or that they behave badly. I always use this verse from the Bible, since in my personal life this verse is the one that lifts me up every day, as a pastor. On the days I have to listen to the needs of my people, the problems of my community, there are problems and needs that are very simple to solve but there are some needs and problems that have no solution.
I have seen how parents are deported to their countries of origin, leaving their children alone in this country where the children were born. I have seen parents go to jail for driving without a driver’s license. I have seen many injustices with our community, all this makes me carry a lot of burden on my shoulders because whatever it is it takes away my sleep and hunger.
I know that my brothers and sisters in Christ are suffering, I also suffer with them, I always like to listen to them until they take out what they carry, then we read Matthew 11:28 and always end up with a lighter load when you understand that we must and cannot carry that heavy load. We know that we have the help of our creator to let go of that past load and thus make it lighter. We are in time of Lent, time of conversion, so let’s leave our burdens al Señor.
