The recent influx of unaccompanied migrant children arriving in the United States has drawn broad attention from many denominations across the country. Last week, Presiding Bishop Eaton reflected that, “The children entering the United States have fled because their lives are in danger. God is their ultimate hope, and we can be a sign of that hope.” Rev. Stephen Bouman and other ELCA leaders visited the border last week and voiced their concern as well.
