Ministry Recognitions at the 2024 Synod Assembly
Each year the South Dakota Synod recognizes rostered ministers who are recently retired and those who have proclaimed the Gospel for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60 and 65+ years. You are invited to join us at the Synod Assembly on the evening of Thursday, May 30th, 2024, as we recognize these faithful servants, as well as congregations that are celebrating significant anniversaries of their ministries.
The celebration will be held from 7 to 9pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls (909 W 33rd Street) with cake sponsored by Luther Seminary and Wartburg Theological Seminary. We ask those being recognized to RSVP to Robert Jenson (lpgsd@sdsynod.org or 605-274-4024) by May 13, 2024.
