When the world seems tumultuous, facing new crises and searching for innovative solutions, the Old Testament may seem utterly irrelevant. Yet the texts of the Old Testament were written in times of significant cultural, political, and religious upheaval–times very much like our own. Together we will explore some of those ancient contexts and reflect on how the study of the Old Testament can breathe new life into the church today.

Lodging is available at the AmericInn by Wyndham in Ft. Pierre (312 Island Drive, Ft. Pierre, SD 57532) and there is a block of rooms held under “South Dakota Synod”.
