Retired Lutheran Pastor, Rev. Dennis Ellingsen, of Sioux Falls passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Mayo Hospital in Rochester, MN. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday October 12, 2016 at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM tonight at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls, SD, followed by a 7:00 PM prayer service. To read the full obituary, click here.
Rev. Ellingsen was most recently rostered in the Eastern North Dakota Synod, but also served many years in the South Dakota Synod.
